Norske Skog in transformation

2025 marks a pivotal year for Norske Skog with the completion of our largest investment since 1962 - a EUR 320 million conversion at our Golbey mill in France. This transformation shifts a former newsprint line into a state-of-the-art packaging paper line (PM1), reinforcing our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and market diversification.

With a capacity of 550,000 tonnes, PM1 strengthens Norske Skog’s position as a key player in the European packaging market, following the success of our Bruck mill, which has produced 210,000 tonnes of packaging paper since 2023. This strategic move reduces reliance on traditional newsprint while unlocking new growth opportunities.
