Norske Skog Bruck: 2nd place at the Austria-wide maintenance competition
Maintenance is far more than repairing and maintaining equipment. Rather, it is being actively involved in the future. By further developing processes and systems, improvements are introduced and new projects emerge. Maintenance includes technical workshops, project management, IT, engineering, equipment and spare parts management, and much more. In short: everything that is needed for technical competence to operate a business is part of maintenance.
General Manager Thomas Reibelt: "The employees are the key to success. The jury highlighted the high qualification level of the team as particular strengths." They further focused on the high plant availability of the paper machines, the excellently integrated IT systems along with a highly developed weak-point analysis.
Account is taken with this award of the importance of maintenance in the Bruck mill, promoting their contribution to the competitiveness of the company.
Andreas Stockreiter, Head of Mechanical department: “It is a great recognition of achievement, feedback from the outside that lets us compare our efforts with other leading industrial companies. Once weaknesses have been optimized and strengths have been further emphasized, we will make it to the top.”
