Boyer Mill Achieves Eight Years H1 Injury Free

We are very pleased to announce that on Monday 26th September 2011 the Boyer Mill achieved another significant milestone in the Mill’s Health and Safety history when we recorded Eight Years H1 Injury Free against the internal Norske Skog standard.

The Boyer Mill employees have collectively demonstrated over the past eight years that we are absolutely committed to improving health and wellbeing onsite.  Whilst continuous improvement in ‘Our Mills’ underlying safety performance has been consistently delivered throughout the 8 year period, encouragingly over the past two years ‘Our Mill’ has reduced its underlying incident rate by over 30%. Our individual and collective commitment to Health & Safety is making a big difference.

I would like to personally congratulate all employees on achieving an excellent milestone and also set the challenge for ‘Our Mill’ to reach 10 years H1 Injury Free – It is possible!
