After the machine was shut down punctually in mid-July, the conversion of the machine began. Renovation work on the building began at the same time as the dismantling of machine parts that would no longer be needed. Within a few days, the paper machine was unrecognizable.

One feels that there is nothing left of the old parts. This is because parts of the machine are restored and renewed externally before they are reassembled in the machine. In the meantime, the construction of the machine has already started again.

At the same time, the new anaerobic water treatment will be put into operation at the beginning of October, so that it will be ready for the start of the OCC system at the end of January.

The construction of the pulp plant is also at an advanced stage and on schedule. The interior fittings and wiring are in full swing. The agitator will arrive this week to be available for assembly.

The new logistics hall is ready and work on the track has started to ensure timely delivery of the Strato products.

All in all we are quite pleased with the progress made in Bruck an der Mur, and we cannot wait to send you the first samples of Strato Testliner3 and Strato Fluting in the first quarter of 2023!
