Situated in Southern Tasmania, the mill produced Australia’s first newsprint in 1941 and remains one of the state’s major employers.
Annual production is around 261 000 tonnes of newsprint, improved newsprint, book grades and light weight coated grades since the completion of the $85m PM2 conversion project in 2014.
The mill uses certified plantation radiata pine.
